摘要：

The data and information management of oil and gas field development is an important link in oil and gas exploitation and the effective data and information management can greatly raise the efficiency of the production management and scientific research and obviouly increase the economic resturns of oil and gas field development. In terms of the professional properties of the data and information management of oil and gas field development and by taking the Southwest Petroleum Bureau as an example, the database design and the realization of the functional modules of application software are introduced in the paper on the basis of analyzing the requirements of the data and information management system of oil and gas field development. Such a system has been applied in the field and a good result has been obtained at present.
