To the 75-th anniversary of Lev Nikolaevich Korolev

The scientific biography of corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences L.N. Korolev is shortly described. He made the fundamental works on solving the encoding information-logical problems, development of the methods of automated programming and symbol transformations. He was a leader of a group of programmers created the first domestic operational control system. At the present time, he is a head of investigations on creation of the instrumental analysis system of dynamic processes on the basis of non-traditional approaches with using the technologies of neural networks and genetic algorithms.
