摘要
The application of lithium-ion batteries as a high performance choice for powering cell phones and notebook computers was discussed. The cells make use of a gelled electrolyte for better packaging and reducing leakage. They are built keeping in demand the high levels of energy density of cellular handsets. The capacity improvements provided by different vendors, and packaging developments of the batteries were also discussed.
