Influence of the clapboard on electromagnetic field and resonant frequency within the resonant cavity of microwave plasma thruster

摘要
In order to investigate the influence of the clapboard on electromagnetic field and resonant frequency, the numerical simulation of electromagnetic field and resonant frequency within the resonant cavity was discussed by use of FDTD and DFT. Results show that the clapboard not only makes the magnitude of axis electrical field lower but also makes the resonant frequency lower, the more the thickness and Εre of clapboard, the more the affection of electromagnetic field and the excursion of frequency. These results can be used for design of the clapboard and adjusting the resonant frequency within the resonant cavity.
