摘要
The paper discusses a new method to determine the chemical eff ect of CO2 addition on laminar burning velocity of premixed methane/air flames. The present study shows how to evaluate the chemical eff ect of CO2 addition without use of the computer code GRI-Mech3.0 (GRI method). For bet er illustration it is necessary to compare not only two equal additives of CO2 and N2, but also two equivalent additives of those substances in mixtures of the same flame temperature (GI method). The new method is also applicable to fuel combustion mechanism, which has not been studied, but the flame propagation velocities with addition of CO2 and N2 have been obtained. © 2013 by Begell House, Inc.
