摘要
In order to launch long-rod projectiles with a two-stage light-gas gun, a mechanical shelling system was designed to realize shelling of long-rod projectiles and give a full play to the firing performance of the two-stage light-gas gun. This system was used to conduct shelling tests on the two-stage light-gas gun, and the working progress of this system was simulated with the software AUTODYN. The numerical simulation results were compared with those of tests to verify the correctness of the former. Finally, the system working performance was studied under conditions of different velocities using numerical simulation. The results showed that this shelling system's design is reasonable, and its effect is ideal within the launch velocity range of 500-1 750 m/s; when the launch velocity is less than 1 500 m/s, the shelling system has a smaller damage and can be reused. © 2019, Editorial Office of Journal of Vibration and Shock.
