A new column-store encryption scheme based on MIN

Ensuring security of the column-store become more and more important with the popularity of columnstore as a promising physical design alternative in recent years. Because the structure features of the column-store differ from the traditional row-store, new encryption schemes which are suitable for columnstore must be found to guarantee the security of column-store. We analyze the existing encryption scheme of column-store, and according to the structure features of column-store, propose a new column-store encryption scheme Romega which bases on multistage interconnection network (MIN), and analyse the security and efficiency of this encryption scheme. © 2014 Binary Information Press.
