Use of zincon for spectrophotometric and test determination f cationic surfactants

The interaction of zincon and cationic surfactants in water and on silica gel surface was considered. The procedures for photometric and test determination of cationic surfactants with use of indicator silica gel tubes have been developed. The detection limits are 1 mg/l for photometric and 1 g/l for test methods, the admissible concentration ranges are (4-30) mg/l and (5-1000) g/l, respectively.
