Quasiparticles and collective excitations are similar in that they arise de novo from material interactions. They are in need of classification and important because some of them are highly relevant to successful lattice assisted nuclear reactions (LANR). This report reviews this classification along with discussion of their impact on our ability to enable LANR. © 2017 ISCMNS. All rights reserved.
