Neutron diffraction measurements have been performed on CeCo 0.86Ge2 at low temperatures. The obtained data confirm that this compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic CeNiSi2-type structure (space group Cmcm). Magnetic ordering is not detected at 1.5 K. © 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
