In order to improve the project management performance of nuclear power construction projects in China, the nuclear power companies and the government are seeking a method to establish a construction management supervision system. This paper analyzed the supervision of nuclear project quality management and proposes a quality supervision mechanism. It consisted of a co-framework of the contractor / construction party quality self-control system and the construction party / government supervision system. To achieve better supervision, we proposed a quality evaluation method introducing Rough Set Theory based on the mechanism. The method applied a heuristic attribute reduction algorithm in the reduction of index attribute to elicits factors closely associated with project quality, namely, the supervision points. By using the method, the construction party of nuclear power construction projects are able to achieve effective supervision over contractors and the government can use the evaluation results to regulate the construction party’ quality management validly. © Sila Science.
