Traditional method of anti-slide pile design is not only hard for calculation, and it is difficult to obtain the economic and reasonable design scheme. In this paper, based on the analysis of the mechanism of the anti-sliding piles, the main factors which influence the cost of the anti-sliding piles, such as the section size and length of the anti-sliding piles, are discussed. A model with these factors is established for the optimization of the anti-sliding piles. The cost of the anti-sliding pile is taken as the objective function, solved through genetic algorithm, we established a global stability optimization model of anti-sliding pile. © EGJE, 2014.
