摘要
The possibility of cooling a cloud of neutral particles by a cavity-enhanced cooling scheme was studied. Numerical simulations of the stochastic differential equations describing the situation of many two-level atoms confined in a single-mode standing-wave optical resonator showed that the friction force and thus the cooling time is of the same order of magnitude as for a single atom for the same system parameters.
