摘要
Although many short-term measurements for stress generated in a member of a steel bridge have been conducted, because of its technical and economic difficulties, there are not so many examples of measurement and monitoring of stress fluctuation for the long term caused by seasonal environmental change and track maintenance works. We newly developed a stress monitoring system for steel bridge with the outdoor operating life of JO years or longer and significantly decreased base price. It does not require any external power source and also the installation cost is significantly reduced. In this article, we will describe the system that started to use in Tokaido Shinkansen. © 2018 Japan Railway Engineers' Association. All rights reserved.
