Brazilian eucalyptus pulp producer Aracruz Celulose S.A. is planning to buy a 400,000 mtpy eucalyptus pulp mill from competitor Klabin S.A. for $610.5 million. The deal is expected to lift the Brazilian-based pulp producer to the world's No. 2 pulp producer rank based on capacity. Aracruz's new capacity would be 2.4 million mtpy.
