摘要
Tungsten tip with single-walled carbon nanotubes assembled on its surface was vacuum annealed to remove various impurities absorbed by the tip apex and the nanotubes. The mass spectra of the residual gases at different degassing temperatures and the emission characteristics of the nanotubes were measured to understand the mechanism of the variations in the slops of the Fowler-Nordheim plots.
