摘要
The generation of pulsed waves and its impact on offshore engineering platform have become a research hot topic. For a more realistic simulation of high-energy impact waves, a pulse wave generation method of electro-hydraulic rotary valve control is proposed and the mathematical model of the wave maker system is established. The mathematical model is analyzed using Matlab/Simulink software tools and piston wave maker experimental facility with electro-hydraulic rotary valve control is developed to verify. The results show that new wave maker system can further improve the wave amplitude in a certain plate frequency and make it easy to generate the pulse waves; Depth of water in water tank is the factor for the wave amplitude, a larger the depth of the water would lead to larger the pulse wave amplitude; The pulse wave amplitude depends on the control of the axial opening width of the valve port and oil supply pressure of the system, and the greater the axial opening and the oil supply pressure, the higher the pulse wave amplitude. New method is of great significance to further guide the generation of achieving higher power pulsed waves. © 2018 Journal of Mechanical Engineering.
