摘要
In this study biosorption of Remazol Yellow (RR) textile dye from the waste water was investigated onto thermally dried Saccharomyces cerevisiae in a batch system as a function of pH, tempereature, initial dye and biomass concantration. At pH=2; C-0=400 ppm; Cb=2 g/L; T=25 degrees C; with a stirring rate of 140 rpm the highest removal % 88 and biosorption capasity 163 mg/g was found. Ethanol and NaOH was used as pretreatment agent. In desorption studies with 0.5 M NaOH % 36.5 and with water (pH 8) % 1.5 desorption efficiency was catched. The Freundlich, Langmuir, Temkin, Harkins-Jura adsorption models were evaluated. Langmuir isotherm model and second order kinetic model is the best model for the biosorption process. Thermodynamic parameters were also calculated Delta H=25.3 kj/mol ve Delta S=52 j/molK and biosorption is endothermic. For characterization study FTIR and SEM analysis were done to the Saccharomyces cerevisiae before and after the biosorption to search functional groups changes because of the biosorption process.
