摘要
In order to get more reliable results of geotechnical centrifugal model test, based on the modified devices of centrifugal model test, take the saturated soft clay in different centrifugal acceleration field as subject, the results of different soil thickness and different drainage conditions were analyzed. Based on large strain consolidation theory, saturated soft clay consolidation settlement was also calculated by analytical method and numerical method. The three types of analysis method were compared to analyze the impact of centrifugal force field on the test results. It was indicated that, there were two phases in the consolidation process of saturated soft soil in centrifugal model test, namely the quick consolidation and the sequent slow consolidation. The quick consolidation process was mainly influenced by centrifugal acceleration. The bigger the centrifugal acceleration was, the greater the test results would deviate from theoretical calculations. Even if centrifugal acceleration was between 48 and 71g, the thicker the soil sample was, the greater the test results would deviate from theoretical calculations. The double-sided drainage consolidation of soft clay could be qualitatively analyzed with centrifugal model tests.
