摘要
Because disruption happens unpredictably and generates serious impact in supply chain and production environments in the real world, it is important to develop approaches to handle disruption. This paper investigates disruption handling in part input sequencing of flexible manufacturing systems (FMSs). An algorithm is proposed for FMS part input sequencing to handle machine breakage. Evaluation is performed for the proposed algorithm by simulation experiments and result analyses. Finally, conclusions are summarized with managerial implications discussed and further research works suggested.
