This paper proposes an embedded software GPS receiver based on TMS320C6713 DSP and GP2015. It presents the design of the radio frequency front end and the method of high-speed transmission with DSP. The acquisition and tracking algorithms for this software GPS receiver are also analyzed. Experimental results prove the high reliability of the receiver and the convenience of upgrading the software and algorithms. Therefore, the receiver is applicable in the development and verification of the algorithms. The design provides technical guidance and experience for the implementation of the future embedded multi-mode software GPS receiver.
