David Allan, owner of Rhino Print Solutions, is looking forward to install a third 40-inch press, a Heidelberg 12-color Speedmaster perfector to further add to Rhino's success. The new 12-color will have modular coating units, allowing it to print six-over-six or five colors and a coating on both sides in one pass. The press is part of a major capital investment, which includes exchanging a Heidelberg TopSetter CtP system for a faster SupraSetter, and adding a new Stahl folder. Allan is confident that Rhino will be able to absorb the added capacity created by his new press in a challenging market like Vancouver, where a number of long perfecting presses have been installed in the past few years. A key ingredient to Rhino's growth and the company's turnaround is also the positive working environment that encourages the workers to continue to grow the business.
