摘要
The loads in the pocket and under the lands of axial piston pump slippers depend on the non-flatnesses of the lands and oil supply from the piston through the control orifices used in the piston ball and slipper joints. This paper examines the orifice size, overclamp ratio and tilting couple effects on the performance of such hydrastatic slippers. An experimental investigation under steady state operating conditions is presented. It appears that even without orifice, the slippers operate well providing that the surface of the land is not flat.
