摘要
The dual Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) with sympathetic cooling of 87Rb in the F=2,mF=2 state was studied. It was shown that production of dual BEC relied on a precise control of the initial conditions. The effect of the interspecies thermalization rate on sympathetic cooling efficiency was also studied by changing the overlap between the buffer and the target gas. Experimental observations were in agreement with the calculation of thermal contact between the atomic species.
