摘要
Water is used as a cooling agent in different industrial installations. The heat accumulated with the cooling water is transferred to the environment by heat exchangers. At the same time, heating of industrial and administrative buildings is necessary in cold seasons. Using the heat of the cooling water for heating purposes is an attractive idea. However, this is a low-potential source of heat. Cooling water heat utilization is possible with the help of a high-temperature heat pump. The vapor-compression type of the heat pump is considered. Four refrigerants are selected for the analysis: R142b, R236fa, R600a, and R406a. The computational research is carried out of the high-temperature pump efficiency depending on the refrigerant used. The calculation results for the heat pump thermodynamic cycle with refrigerants selected are presented. The high-temperature heat pump coefficient of performance for heating is shown depending on low-temperature source level for two values of the condensation point temperature: 60°C and 83°C. As a result of the analysis, the refrigerants R236fa and R600a are recommended for being used in a hightemperature heat pump for utilizing the heat of industrial cooling water. © 2017 by Begell House, Inc.
