A unicast QoS routing genetic algorithm based on multiple attribute decision making

摘要
Wireless multimedia sensor networks (WMSNs)is a new kind of network which is competent in transferring voice, images, video and other information. It has a broad prospect of application in military, environmental monitoring, intelligent transportation and so on. As for multimedia applications which have high requirements of real-time, the transmission process needs to consider satisfying many QoS constraints such as bandwidth, delay, jitter, packet loss rate and so on. The traditional single-objective optimization method which construct the path evaluation function by summing the bandwidth, delay, jitter, packet loss rate and add weight coefficient to them has a problem that the weight coefficient is difficult to determine. so in this paper, combining the entropy technique, a novel evaluation function based on multi-attribute decision has been proposed to evaluate path's performance which satisfies the QoS constraints. Our simulation experiment result shows that it performs better than the method which using a fixed weight coefficient to construct the evaluation function.
