摘要
The seepage of tailings dam correlates nearly with water-soil interaction. The theory of water-soil interaction is introduced into the tailing dam seepage analysis. On the basis of the theory of geochemistry and mechanics, discussed water-soil interaction from macro and micro, and classify into four types, i.e., water-soil chemical interaction, water-soil physical interaction, seepage action, and the modals of physical, chemical and mechanics coupling action. Water-soil chemical interaction and its effect on the mechanical properties of tailing are amplified. Taking one iron ore tailing dam as an example, the feasibility of the theory is proved by the seepage field finite element simulation. The beneficial discussions on the aspect of water-soil interaction in the seepage provide a new train of thoughts on disaster-causing mechanism research of the tailing dam.
