摘要
The promotion of sustainability in the training of engineers is discussed. The importance and risk of global warming was recognized by the Kyoto agreement which sets objectives of stabilizing greehouse gas concentrations. In a study for Landcare Australia 2002, 70% of respondents indicated they would be more likely to select a brand that sponsored the environment. Research shows that about 75% of the adult population is incapable of independent adult thought.
