Kinetic study on selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3 over CeO2/TiO2 catalysts

CeO2/TiO2 catalysts were prepared by a sol-gel method. The reaction kinetics were studied on the selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3 over the catalysts. The results showed that the reaction was a first-order reaction with NO, a zero-order reaction with NH3 and nearly half-order with O2. The reaction followed the Eley-Rideal mechanism model. The activation energy of the reaction was 51.2 kJ/mol. © 2015, Science Press. All right reserved.
