摘要
The rediscovered paradigm in improvement initiatives is excellence. In manufacturing companies the effort to excellence is reflected in Operational Excellence initiatives. Operational Excellence has an increasingly holistic character, as it combines previous singularly executed improvement initiatives. Beside the creation of a consistent Operational Excellence understanding, the functions and organizational structure of a central Operational Excellence team, based on the understanding of “continuous improvement”, is shown in this article. © Carl Hanser Verlag, München.
