摘要
Objective: To study the immunomodulatory and antioxidant activity of rose hips extracts. Methods: Rose hips was extracted using ultrasonic extraction, getting n-hexane extract, ethanol extract and water extract in sequence. Concanavalin (ConA) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) were used to induce mouse spleen lymphocytes cell proliferation. The effect of rose hip extracts on the proliferation of murine splenocytes were detected by WST-8. The neutral red pinocytosis activity and NO production of mouse peritoneal macrophage with lipopolysaccharide (LPS-induced) phagocytic were used to evaluate the effect of rose hip extract on the non-specific immunity. Conclusion: Rose hip reveals better immunomodulatory activity and antioxidant activity. It is related to the development of health food resources. Results: three extracts inhibited the proliferation of ConA- and LPS-stimulated murine splenocytes, the effect on phagocytic activity of macrophages and NO production showed significantly inhibition. Oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) was used to evaluate the antioxidant activity of rose hips extracts.
