摘要：

The aim of the paper is to describe the experience of development, introduction and certification of the quality system (QS) at the All-Russian scientific research institute of relay manufacturing (VNIIR). As a result of these measures realized during the period 1999-2000 the QS was developed, introduced and certified by the special organization on certification. The further measures on improving the QS activity are described.
