摘要
The glassy carbon electrode has been modified with the polyaniline/zinc bismuthate composite nanorods and the role of polyaniline on the electrochemical performance for benzoic acid detection has been investigated. 20 wt.% polyaniline/zinc bismuthate nanorods modified glassy carbon electrode shows two pairs of semi-reversible cyclic voltammetry (CV) peaks located at +0.16 V (cvp1), +0.05 V (cvp1′ and +0.03 V (cvp2), -0.44 V (cvp2′, respectively. The current response exhibits linear relationship with the benzoic acid concentration in the range of 0.001-2 mM, where the limit of detection is 0.78 μM and 0.45 μM for cvp1 and cvp2, respectively. With increasing the polyaniline content from 10 wt.% to 40 wt.%, the limit of detection for cvp1 and cvp2 decreases from 0.92 μM, 0.69 μM to 0.36 μM, 0.18 μM, respectively. The polyaniline obviously enhances the electrochemical detection ability for benzoic acid. © 2018 American Scientific Publishers All rights reserved.
