摘要
An inductive high-TCsuperconducting fault current limiter has been built in order to study its fault current characteristics. The limiter consists three parts: copper primary winds, Bi-2212 superconducting tubes, and iron core. The fault current characteristics are affected by the number of turns in the primary windings (N) and the core effective permeability (μeff). In this paper, we present the experimental results of static impedance tests and dynamic short circuit tests. The static impedance tests are used to define the device operating conditions and the dynamic short circuit tests are used to characterize the limiter's performance.
