Various methods to ensure proper functioning of machine components under extreme environments were discussed. Various designing methods for sensors were discussed to make them withstand under extreme environments. Methods to ensure reliable working of rotary industrial encoders in wide variety of environments were discussed. Ways to prevent corrosion in bearings were also discussed.
