摘要
The efficiency of interleaved Boost converter (IBC) is affected by the switching frequency, the boost inductor and the output voltage. The relationship curves between the efficiency of IBC and the above three parameters are calculated by analytical method. It is found that the efficiency of IBC has nonlinear relationships with the switching frequency/the boost inductance. Firstly, the output voltage is optimally designed considering the requirement of power factor. Then the optimal switching frequency and the optimal boost inductor are obtained by taking the partial derivatives of total loss or efficiency. A 3.3kW IBC prototype is developed. Its power factor is higher than 99%. Its full-load efficiency can reach 97.6%. The experimental results verify the correctness of the proposed design method in this paper. Compared with traditional design method, the proposed designed method can increase the efficiency of IBC. © 2018, Electrical Technology Press Co. Ltd. All right reserved.
