Study on the effects of the longitudinal vibration of shafting on acoustic radiation from underwater double cylindrical shell

摘要
The vibration and radiation induced by longitudinal vibration of shafting of underwater double cylindrical shell are calculated by FEM/BEM. A fluid-structure coupled model is built up by finite element method, and the vibration response of structure is calculated by the ANSYS. The characteristics of structural acoustic radiation are investigated by boundary element method. The location and configuration of thrust bearing are changed, resulting in modifying the amplitude and propagation path of input force, so the acoustic radiations of double cylindrical shell underwater are reduced.
