摘要
Postdoctoral scholars are a group of library users that are often overlooked by academic librarians designing outreach services. The science librarian at New York University-Abu Dhabi created an outreach program to ensure that postdocs at this university were aware of library services available to them. Steps for creating a successful outreach program for postdocs include creating a master list of postdoctoral scholars, orienting new postdocs while reaching out to existing researchers, identifying and working with lab managers, traveling to postdoc work spaces, and constantly evaluating and adapting outreach efforts to meet the changing needs of this community. © 2013 Published with license by Taylor & Francis.
