The Georgia Pacific (G-P) is working on a project to install a new tissue PM at its Gien mill in France. The trial run on the 60,000 tonne/yr machine is due to begin at the end of 2001 and commercial production will follow next year. The project also includes converting equipment. However, the project cost and suppliers for the paper machine and converting equipment were not revealed.
