摘要
In order to improve the assembling efficiency of the flexible manufacturing systems, task times were assumed to be independent stochastic variables, which obey normal distribution, and a double U-shaped assembly line balancing method using priority value was proposed. The precedence relationships diagram was divided into a forward direction and a backward direction precedence relationship diagram, and both forward and backward priority values were calculated by programming, since the assembly line includes the entrance side and the exit side. A double U-shaped assembly line balance model considering the random task times was built, and the model was solved by using heuristic algorithm in the experimental examples. Using the proposed method, the efficiency of the assembly line is calculated to be 92.4%, the smoothness index is calculated to be 8.57, and the number of workstations is reduced by one. The results show that the distribution scheme is excellent, and the superiority of the proposed method was verified. © 2020, Jilin University Press. All right reserved.
