摘要
A methodological approach for business processes integration, through phases, tools, and techniques, using the information related to the context and historical events is proposed. The purpose is to offer a generic solution to be applied in several execution domains. The method used to reach this goal is composed of the following phases: i) specification of the integration goal, ii) process search and retrieval, and iii) integration and execution. The method validation is performed by using a case study focus on the Colombian coffee production process. One of the main conclusions is that for appropriate process integration it is essential to provide detailed context information and historical events since they are essential when making process integration.
