The accessibility impacts of transfer route of urban rail transit network, such as network structure, transfer station structure and train schedule are surveyed, and the characteristics of display terminals of passenger information system (PIS) of urban rail transit network are investigated. The constraints of model about analyzing the accessibility of transferring route in the evening are determined. The styles of guidance information are described according to the characteristics of PIS. The reckoning model of the accessibility of transfer route is constructed in accordance with the constraints, and solution to the model is found based on Genetic Algorithms (GAs), selection operator, crossover operator and mutation operator are designed. Then, the function structure of passenger guidance system is drawn out. The passenger-oriented functions of querying and browsing guidance information are planned. The above functions make sure that passengers will query the accessibility of designated transferring routes at appointed time, and look over which accessibility between a certain station and other stations at present. The staff-oriented functions are designed, which include managing the infrastructure of network and station, checking upcoming guidance information and managing the event of information distribution. Finally, based on the structure and train operation schedule of urban rail transit in 2012, an instance is used to verify the querying functions of accessibility of between two appointed stations at appointed time.
