摘要
The Engineering and Construction Division (ECD) of the Technical and Educational Council (TEC) is one of the principal resources of AWWA for promoting public awareness of water infrastructure and supporting the technical and facility management needs of its members. The ECD comprises seven working committees and one subcommittee and involves approximately 150 active volunteers. The ECD has an implementation approach for its mission that is reflective of the project delivery and infrastructure development backgrounds of many of its members. In August 2009, the ECD Strategic Plan was adopted that include enhance, develop, and deliver knowledge and establish leadership by supporting the engineering and construction mission at each level of AWAA. The division is implementing monitoring and reporting practices to specifically identify industry trends and ensure that they are included in ECD products and services.
