The train working diagram is the base of railway train operation organization. Working-out the train working diagram is an exceptionally large-scale multi-objects optimizing problem, and it is hard to solve with the mathematical method. The matured model and algorithm of train working diagram of existing railway have important reference value to working-out of train working diagram of dedicated passenger line (DPL). On the basis of the existing transport organization mode of dedicated passenger lines, this paper puts forward the layer and accumulation mathematical model of train working diagrams in consideration of own-line class A, cross-line class B and inter city trains of DPL, studies the trains distribution model and calculating methods of various types of trains, designs the optimizing strategy and algorithm of train working diagrams of DPL based on the improved genetic algorithm. The computational example indicates that the proposed algorithm is able to work out train working diagram schemes rapidly and accurately, thus providing optimum alternatives for the working staff.
