Continuous wire phosphating in once-through systems

The success of the drawing process is defined by wire output, productivity, in combination with the quality of the finished product. Medium- and high-carbon wires are pre-conditioned by chemical surface treatment in continuous processing lines. In fact, zinc phosphating is at the core of the surface treatment process. The properties of this layer are decisive, among others, for perfect wire performance in the subsequent drawing process.
