Thermal decomposition of aminosilicas and their salts with HCl and HNO3

摘要
The thermal transformations in silicas covalently modified by aminopropyl groups and their nitrates and chlorides were studied by thermogravimetry method. The nature of thermal decomposition process of aminosilica in 310-340°C temperature interval differs from its explanation given in literature. It was demonstrated that the aminosilica nitrate decomposes at 225°C with the formation of aldehyde groups.
