The software development requires frequent modifications to solving security problems and latest information release because of the widespread use of the Internet and web systems. Corresponding between a program and its specifications is one of the important element of software quality for maintainability. This paper proposed the analyzing and correcting method to traceability between an event driven program and its specifications. A traceability analysis permits to formalize the program structure in regular expression considering to the state transition of the event driven system. A traceability modification is applicable to a regular expression based on a traceability analysis of this program. It also discussed an application method and its example for a JavaScript program included in HTML document. As a result it can be checking correspondence between JavaScript program and its specifications and correcting traceability of this program.
