Leak testing trends

Leak testing is required by medical devices, which have fluid management functions. Medical devices form a barrier between fluids or gases that could create a danger for the patient if they were allowed to mix. If a leak along the pathway exists, then the fluids could be delivered to the wrong part of the patient's body or bodily fluids could gather inside the body with dangerous consequences.
