摘要
Considering the viscous damping of the soils and the soil-pile coupled vibration, the response of a pipe pile embedded in a layered visco-elastic soil and subjected to a harmonica torsional loading is theoretically investigated. The vibration displacement solution of the soils is solved by using the separation of variables technique at first. Based on perfect contact between the pipe pile and the soils and through the recursion of the impedance function, the analytical solution for the dynamic response of the pile top is derived in the frequency domain. Finally, the corresponding computer programs are developed and parameter study is made to investigate the torsional vibration characteristics of pipe pile. It is shown that, in the low-frequency stage which focused by dynamic foundation design, the influence of the shear modulus and viscosity damping coefficient of soil around pile is greater than the influence of inner soil. The determination of impedance function at pile bottom has significant affection on the complex stiffness of pile top. ©, 2015, The Editorial Board of Journal of Basic Science and Engineering.
