Space electromagnetic relay has been widely used in aerospace and weapon equipment fields. The slip of the relay contact can remove the oxide film on the contact surface and separate the arcing point from operation point. So, the study on contact slip length will help to improve the reliability of the contact and the lifespan of the space relay. In this paper, the variable calculation equations of tangential angle and contact angle are established based on structural modeling of the reed and the contact. Through establishing the flexibility and the assembly dimension chain equations of contact system, the contact slip length is determined. Taking the contact structural parameters as variables, multiple linear regression model of the contact slip length is established by uniform design method, and the optimal structural parameters are also decided.
